CLIIN Coin: certified environmental impact, in digital form.
CLIIN Coin is the platform's next step: the digital representation, recorded on the Hedera network, of environmental credits and attributes certified by CLIIN-Cert. Each CLIIN Coin will correspond to a set of verified credits and will be fully traceable, from the origin of the waste to the retirement of the credit.
CLIIN Coin is in development and depends on the validation of CLIIN-Cert, verification by an international audit and the applicable regulatory framework. It is not yet available for purchase, sale or reservation.
From waste to verified credit
Waste traded on CLIIN generates data recorded by the platform (weighing, waste manifests, e-invoices, logistics). From that data CLIIN-Cert estimates the impact, the independent audit verifies it, and only then is the credit issued.
Backed by certified credits
Each CLIIN Coin will represent certified and verified credits. The equivalence will depend on the type of credit and the methodology, with no fixed quantity promised.
Clear rules
CLIIN Coin is not a regulated market credit (SBCE) or a CRVE. The regulatory framework is under review, and launch is planned for 2027, with no set date.
